Myspace is not for me
If you were to go to my
myspace you would see that I link back to my blog here because as you all know, I am bad enough at keeping up with this blog. There is nothing that makes me think that I would be able to stay on top of two blogs!
Part of why I keep this one and don't just switch over to the other is more than just the momentum I have here. The real reason is because apparently, I am not part of their demographic. Of course I mean no offense to any of you that are out there (I am on there too)! But I don't have 3 dozen pictures of me and all my friends flipping of the camera, standing around a table of half empty liquor bottles while provocatively pushing my boobs out! And it seems that this is some sort of prerequisite that I simply do not meet.

I love the post Valentine's sales! I get my Whitman sampler for half price.
What I don't like is when I decide that I am just going to have one piece right now and the one that I grab is- coconut- blek! But I already told myself I was only going to have one piece. Sad.
I'll be PC, if that is OK with you
A few days ago, a friend of mine apologized for a comment made that he later realized may have offended me. It didn't, in fact when he said it, I thought nothing of except that it was his opinion.
When he apologized he wanted to make sure that I knew that it wasn't that he didn't like what he said he didn't like but that he liked something else better. That is fine but it got me thinking... are we so PC that we change our opinions because it may offend someone? I'm not saying that this is what he did but that it got me thinking about this idea.
There is a difference between tactfully expressing our opinions and being dishonest about them. I don't like radishes. I am not going to tell a radish farmer that I like them just because that is what he does. I hope that I would be tactful and not go on and on about how disgusting I think radishes are and how only people with no tastebuds or no brain eat radishes.
Do you know what I mean? Have you ever done anything like that?
